with a dash of organized chaos & a pinch of controlled mayhem, and blessings galore!

Welcome to my blog, as my title suggests, my life, most of the time, is an oxymoron. Bad things turn good, planned things end up out of control, and things I absolutely know for certain, I find out I actually have no clue about. For a few years now I have been annoying people with my updates on Face Book, and have decided to stop forcing my life experiences on them. I have learned that not everyone thinks that God is the definition of "Awesome", and deserves all the glory, and the best of us at all times, not everyone, gets as excited as I do when one of my chickens lays an egg, or my dog snores. Nor are they, in love with my husband and could care less if he does something super cute to show his love for me. Some, are not interested in what my kids say or do, no matter how funny and good looking they are. Some do not agree with my politics, or religion, or how I choose to educate, or the millions, I save with coupons, and making my own cleaners,(well, maybe not millions) BUT, some do and that is why you are here. So I hope you find my blog, interesting, entertaining, and educational, but most of all...REAL.

Hello, is there anybody here?

I have always thought about writing the "Great American Novel", but somewhere along the way, like so many other things, it has never gotten done. So I thought I would start with a little blog first and see if I can manage that. I love reading the blogs of others, and hope mine will be as enjoyable. I also am aware that alot of my "mom notes" and pics were lost, as a result of a fire, and others, just lost. So maybe I can keep up with things a little more this way. I have watched my love for my husband grow, strong and steady. I have also noticed my children, growing up way too fast. The loss of loved ones, always makes you wish, you had jotted down that little, extra something that made them special and unique.  Maybe this will help to preserve some of these precious memories, as I am a complete scatter brain most of the time. I also, like to share my recipes, and money saving tips, with friends, as well, so look for those things too. I have tried numerous times at starting a journal, and just couldn't get the hang of that either, but maybe this will be a bit more inspiring. I hope you enjoy my upcoming ramblings, and future rants. God Bless!
